I'm Colleen Ballatore, the culinary enthusiast behind Ballatore Bites, where I combine my love for healthy, delicious food with innovative cooking techniques to create delightful and nourishing meals.
I graduated in May 2024 from the Institute of Culinary Education in Pasadena, CA. During my culinary school externship at Erewhon in the Pacific Palisades, I specialized in the sauté station, grill, and fryer, gaining a strong foundation in various cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
I am passionate about transforming favorite comfort foods with clean, healthy ingredients, making nutritious eating both enjoyable and delicious. I prioritize using grass-fed and finished meats, lean turkey, wild fish, and organic pasture-raised chicken. My creativity shines through in finding innovative ways to incorporate extra protein into everyday meals, reflecting my dedication to health-conscious cooking.
